The Reserve

Built into the rock, not on top of it

Ondara was quarried from the cliff it stands on. The stone in the walls came out of the ground beneath the terrace, and the pines that were cleared to build it were milled into the floors.

We kept the property to twelve suites because that is the number one kitchen can cook for properly, and the number our team can learn by name before the first evening.

In their words

We rebooked from the terrace on the second night. Nobody once asked how we were enjoying our stay. They simply knew.

The silence is the luxury. I have paid a great deal more for far less, in cities that never stopped talking.

Marenza keeps its own hours

Forty minutes off the mainland by boat, with one road in and a population that has not changed much since the salt trade. The north shore is unbuilt and will stay that way.
